Gaijin Gunpla

Build Fighters is all about the mixing and matching, kit-bashing, opponent-smashing Gunpla action. Fittingly, the HGBF Powered GM Cardigan is all about all of that. This is evident when you look at the labels on the runners found in the box.

There are some parts from the Powered GM.

Some from the RGM-79 GM

A runner from a Powered GM.

Powered Arms Powereder?

And of course some new parts just for this kit.

And poly-caps and stickers.

The first of the stickers are applied around the bottom of the torso.

They seem to overlap awkwardly at the back, though the white is a good touch.

Make sure you grab the correct backpack!

The thrusters fit into place really well and don’t move around like you find with some other kits.

Be careful when putting the small antennae in the head. It can bend.

I found the design for the elbows interesting.

And the hands are almost like an MGs. Well, the wrist joint, anyway.

Once beam saber handle comes as one piece but the other is two. Hmm…?

Instead of putting a small V sticker onto the center skirt block you put a sticker around that V.

Much easier, if you ask me.

I’ll just cut this here.

When building the backpack, there is a lot going on. First you assemble two large weapons.

Then you assemble these arms.

These will connect the rifles to the backpack.

Oh, but we’re not done yet.

Assemble two more arms, but these are even longer.

The manual has you fold them up.

These are meant of the two extra shields.

When you’ve got that all done and slap everything together, you end up with this imposing figure.

Okay. Gunpla Build Fighters has earned my interest.
