Ho! Ho! Ho!
Merry Christmas everyone! I hope you’re all enjoying this holiday with friends and family. While you are have an extra helping of stuffing for me because, residing in Japan, Christmas isn’t a holiday and I have to work.
This holiday is the season of giving and, if I don’t say so myself, I’ve done a pretty good job this year of getting my loved ones the gifts they really wanted. Fortunately, there’s someone who is doing the same for me.
Thanks, Santa! I mean, Bandai!
What I really want to be doing right now is working on the MG Sazabi. It’s such a great kit that I want to do something with it and that urge is only made stronger now that there’s a Gauntlet on GAF for this guy! (I haven’t officially joined as I’m unsure what’s happening regarding the family situation in the immediate future, but I’m in there in spirit).
In the meantime, I was itching to build something. Or just resolved to eat away at my backlog one thing at a time so the Rebawoo fits the bill perfectly. A nice OOB build of a rare kit. Woooh, Christmas is special time.
I haven’t built any kind of Rebawoo before so the box contents are all foreign to me.
What’s this tiny runner?
Oooh, Sinanju like effect parts!
Two sets of them. Wait! Do I get two of this entire runner? That means two shields?!
Found only one of these large shield frame parts (and the stickers).
Poor Rebawoo doesn’t even get a manual cover image. Just this runner list.
Ooh, but there’s some kind of transformation or something.
I’m not going to go into all the tiny details of this kit but I’ll show you some stuff such as the stickers.
When you’re building the head the manual says you can put the eye sticker wherever you like.
He’s watching you.
More stickered parts.
This side of the leg is a little strange.
That is meant to connect to this little frame part.
You have to use glue?
Luckily, I have some of that stuff.
It seemed like this would be a good time to put Rebawoo aside and get my daughter ready for bed. It was Christmas Eve, after all, and she was more than ready to hit the hay.
Happy Holidays, everyone! I hope the Gunplars out there got all the Plamo they wanted. Or cash. Cash buys plamo!
