Yes, I was at the Chara Hobby 2013 event this past weekend. And yes, it was ridiculous that people had to line up several hours outside.. on the concrete… during a record-breaking summer’s day to get in. I actually didn’t get there as early as anticipated and so met ASM, the trooper, who had been there since 8am. I don’t have much time to write about the event as a whole but I will share with you all the shots that ASM, who is a far better photographer than I, was gracious enough to share with everyone.

Stars of the show for me (other than the U.S. marines rock band) were the prototype for the MG Sazabi Ver ka, the HG F91, and the Bandai Premium Shop HG Rebawoo.

Thanks for the post Syd, and to ASM for sharing the photos!

The Sazabi is looking good to me, though obviously a very early prototype. I also liked the HG Thunderbolt kits, and am hoping there’ll also be the Rick Dom Thunderbolt version (or better yet MGs of them all 🙂 ).

Some very cool garage kits as well – are these only on sale at the shows?
