Gaijin Gunpla

This kit is based on the 101st airborne troops from WW II, (i know that the suit has the number 108, you could say that is a mix of the 101st and the 8th MS team :P)

I got the idea for a contest on a gunpla website, but unfortunately i couldnt enter because the post office lost the decal set.

The decal set comes from Samuel Decal
the main chest , feets and helmet was painted with the same color as the color used for the helmet used for the 101st, and the rest of the suit uses the color of the uniform.
This is my first kit on wich i tried weathering. it´s just some minor weathering with aluminium paint, using dry brush technique.

Hope you like it !

Love the theme you’ve got going here. Giving me visions of a series of what-if some classic regiments survived into the UC. You might want to check out the tamiya weathering sticks if you’re wanting to do more weathering and don’t want to get into the nitty-gritty of advanced weathering techniques.

Thank you ! 😀 i used dry brush because i cannot find the tamiya weathering sticks in my country. luckily i found somewhere to buy tamiya acrylics (this one was painted with testor model master enamel) so for my next project, the MG full armor unicorn ver Ka it will be all painted with those paints 😀
