The gap between this post and the last isn’t as big as the gap between the last and the first.  I feel I should be proud of that.

I had a few moments after dinner the other night to assemble Heat Metal’s stand and then try it out. Here’s how it happened.

Here’s the runner with all the stand parts except one. I’m sure Bandai had a good reason for designing the runners that way. The similarities between this stand and the action base are evident. It’s kind of like Action Base ‘Lite’.

Put these together.

Then make this. You use screws just like the Action Bases, as well.

Then make this.

Attach a couple more parts to it.

Then the stand is complete!

You can use this simple piece to hold Heat Metal up in the stand.

Or you can use this attachment.

Simply remove the piece from the back of his belt and replace it with the attachment.

You can even store the piece your replaced on the stand, though it comes off pretty easily and you risk losing it if you do so.

With the stand finished I took pictures of Heat Metal in a variety of poses. I could write for some length about the poses and pictures I took so I am going to save that for another post. I actually have some related things to talk about so I’ll keep them all together.

But for now.
